The idea
In 2005 a student sold a million pixels of advertising space on a single web page and it became an internet landmark. Million Egyptian Brands takes the same idea and gives it to Egypt: one page, one million pixels, and a permanent mosaic of the brands that make up the country's economy.
Who it is for
Small and medium businesses, startups, independent makers and larger brands. A single 10x10 block is deliberately cheap enough for a one-person business, and there is no limit on how large a block a bigger brand can take.
Permanent by design
Once an ad is approved it stays on the grid. There is no expiry date and no renewal fee. The page is meant to be a record of Egyptian brands at a moment in time.
